Barry Francis Hadlock

Barry Francis Hadlock, 79, of Port St. Joe, Florida, passed away on Tuesday, September 1, 2026, at home surrounded by his family.

Born on April 23, 1947, in Cleveland, Ohio, Barry lived a life marked by service, strength, and devotion to those he loved. He was an Army veteran who served during the Vietnam War, and he later spent 20 years with the City of Cleveland as a firefighter. After his retirement, he moved to Gulf County, where he made his home for the past thirty-one years.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Loretta; his father, Francis Hadlock; his mother, Irene Olenschock Hadlock; and his sister, Beverly.

Barry is survived by his children, Michelle of Texas, Daniel of Ohio, and Kevin of Ohio, who were a central part of his life and family. He is also survived by his brothers, William of North Carolina and Brian of Florida, and by his special friend, Carla of Florida. 

Those who knew Barry will remember him with love, gratitude, and affection, and his memory will remain with all who were fortunate to share in his life.
