Bryan Keith Blankenship age 55 of Wewahitchka, Florida went to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 21, 2025. He passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family after a battle with cancer.
Bryan was born on December 18, 1969 to Vera Mae Blankenship and Carolos Alonzo Blankenship in St. Mary's, Ohio. He moved to Port St. Joe, Florida when he was a child where he met and married his wife and worked as a well-known handyman. Bryan had a heart of gold and was always willing to help anyone in need. He worked hard and loved even harder, If he loved you, he made sure you knew it, but there was nobody he loved more than the Lord and he attended Lighthouse Pentecostal Church in White City, Florida.
Bryan loved to make people laugh, always cracking jokes all the way to the end. Never losing his sense of humor no matter how hard the battle. He also loved classic cars, fishing, and spending time with his family. He was well loved by all who were lucky enough to be included in his life.
Bryan is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Sheila Blankenship of Wewahitchka, Florida; one brother, Michael Blankenship (Kathy) of Inverness, Florida; one sister, Creva Blankenship (Steve) of Port St. Joe, Florida, as well as several nieces, nephews, and friends.
He is preceded in death by his mother Vera Blankenship; grandmother, Creva Thompson, and two brothers, Vernon Blankenship and Christopher Blankenship.
Services will be held on Saturday, September 27, 2025 at Hope Family Worship Center in Port St. Joe, Florida with visitation beginning at 1:00 PM Eastern Time and the funeral at 2:00 PM Eastern Time with Pastor Tim Bailey officiating. Interment will be held at Holly Hill Cemetery in Port St. Joe, Florida.
