Carol Beacham Goen

Carol Beacham Goen, of Mexico Beach FL, peacefully passed away December 18, 2025. Carol was born on May 7, 1953 in Marietta GA, the daughter to the late Hal and Bettie Beacham. Carol attended Sprayberry High School in Marietta GA, then went on to graduate from Kennesaw State College (KSU) as a Registered Nurse. She exemplified the heart of nursing. She showed empathy, compassion, and love to all of her patients. Her leadership and organizational skills were put on display throughout her career.

Carol married the love of her life, Jeff, on April 22, 1978. Their love and family grew throughout their happy marriage of 31 years.

Carol never knew a stranger. She was quick to engage anyone within an arms length. Her quick wit and fun loving demeanor would light up a room and make those around her feel welcome.

Her grandbabies were her greatest joy. She enjoyed spending time outdoors, dancing, reading, and listening to music.

Along with her parents, Carol is preceded in death by her husband, Jeffery Goen, and brother, Beau Beacham.

Carol leaves behind to carry on her legacy, sister; Cindy Harvey (Rusty). Children; Mike Burch (Renae), Justin Goen, and LeeAnn Doyle. Grandchildren; Jake Burch (Maggie), Mollie Goen, Allie Burch, Austin Doyle, Caroline Goen (Jase), Hannah Goen, Luke Burch (Brooke), and Zachary Doyle. Great-grandchildren; Raleigh, Honey, and Beau.

A visitation will be held at Pineridge Memorial Park, located at 2950 North Cobb Pkwy, Kennesaw, GA, 30152, on December 23, 2025, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.

A graveside service will follow at Pineridge Memorial Park, also located at 2950 North Cobb Pkwy, Kennesaw, GA, 30152, starting at 12:00 pm on the same day.
