Gloria Alicia Florio

Gloria Florio, 67, of Canutillo, TX transitioned to her heavenly home on January 3, 2026 in Port Saint Joe, FL.

Gloria passed away from an illness, and it brings peace to our hearts that she’s not suffering anymore. She is remembered for being extra spirited and for showing love to everyone around her. She never knew a stranger and will be greatly missed.

Underneath Gloria’s resilience and strength, she had a bright compassionate personality and a quick wit; she enjoyed making others laugh. She had many passions like cooking and dancing, but most of all she loved reading her bible, being part of her church community, and sharing her faith.

She treasured being a Nana to an abundance of grandchildren, great grandchildren, and a grand-dog; she would show off photos of her babies whenever she had a chance.

Gloria is survived by six of her seven children: Jaime Moreno Jr. (Faith), Angelica Bass, Jeremias Ramirez, Heavenly Boggs (JJ),Chien Lee Florio, Vinh Star Alleman (Mykol); her siblings: Lucy Garza, Michael Zapata, Pedro Fonseca, Veronica Chavira, Junior Gonzales; and an abundance of cousins, nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents Francisca Gonzales and Pedro Fonseca; fiancé Arthur Joaquim Almeida; sister Kathy Gonzales; and beloved daughter Christina Uribe. It brings solace to her family knowing these beautiful souls are reunited.

Gloria’s life was a blessing and her memory will forever live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate to know her.
