Iny Aline Smith age 75 of Wewahitchka, Florida passed away on Thursday, May 25, 2023. She was born in Eastpoint, Florida on January 28, 1948 to the late Andrew McCreary Nixon and Katie Clyde Murkerson Nixon. Aline enjoyed sewing, cooking and canning fresh fruits and vegetables out of the garden.She loved her Jack Russell’s and going fishing with her great-grandson, Blaize.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Aline is survived by one daughter, Carolyn Shrewsbury Grinslade of Wewahitchka, Florida; two grandchildren, Beverly Ann Monk and William Clyde Monk, both of Wewahitchka, Florida; one sister, Agnes Peavy of Panama City, Florida; one great grandson, Blaize River Davis; special niece and nephew, Kit Mashburn and Patricia Mashburn Bush.
Memorialization will be by cremation.
Arrangements are entrusted to the caring staff of Comforter Funeral Home in Port St. Joe, FL.
