Karen Little Seay a lifelong resident of Port St. Joe, FL, passed away on Wednesday, April 9, 2025 at the age of 65. Born and raised in Port St. Joe, she built a life centered around love, family, and community. Karen was married for 43 years to Craig Seay of Port St. Joe, Florida. Together, they created a home filled with warmth and kindness. She was the beloved mother of Laura Adams (Gene) and Trevor Seay (Courtney), all of Port St. Joe, and the proud Memoo of Murphy and Foster Adams, who brought her endless joy.
She was the daughter of the late James Calvin and Addie Vivian Little. She is survived by her brothers Curtis and Ray Little and is preceded in death by her brother Dale Little. Though family was at the heart of her life, Karen’s kindness extended far beyond. She was affectionately known as “Aunt Karen” to many, touching countless lives with her sweet spirit and generosity. Karen dedicated many years to serving her community through her work at the Gulf County Property Appraiser’s Office and Port St. Joe High School. She was a faithful member of Long Avenue Baptist Church, where she found strength in her faith and friendships. Her gentle nature, unwavering love, and kindness will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
A celebration of Karen’s life will be held at Holly Hill Cemetery on Sunday, April 13, 2025 at 3:00 P.M. Eastern Time with Pastor Eli Prine officiating .
