Lawson Richard Howe

Lawson Richard Howe, age 32 of Wewahitchka, Florida passed away on Saturday, March 28, 2026 in Panama City, Florida . He was born in Tallahassee on July 21, 1993 to his loving parents, Richard and Lynn Howe.

At an early age, Lawson found his love of sports and outdoors. After moving to TN, he began playing guitar in his church and his love of music grew quickly. Lawson relocated back to Florida to enjoy the beach life where he met his partner, Tasha Tarleton. They had recently moved to Wewa and Lawson had been playing his guitar/music at multiple beach Venues with Barry Henson aka Big Bear.

He is survived by his mother, Sara Lynn Grubbs Howe; brother, Robert Andrew Howe, and Lawsons partner in life Tasha Tarleton. He is also survived by grandmothers Jackie Stevens and Mary Grubbs; uncle, William Grubbs; aunts, Charlotte Howe Fincher, Sally Anderson, Charlotte Stevens and many loving cousins.

Lawson was preceded in death by his father, Richard Douglas Howe; grandparents, William “Bill” Grubbs, Bobby Lee Howe and Rose Pugh Howe; aunt Nancy Pugh and a very special “Grand Cap”, Paul Lastowski.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, April 8th, 12:00 PM EST at Beach Baptist Chapel in Port St. Joe, Florida with Pastor David Nichols officiating.
