Michael John Lowry

Michael John Lowry age 71 of Port St. Joe, Florida passed away on Friday, April 21, 2023 at Sacred Heart Hospital on the Gulf. He was born in Kenmore, Ohio on October 25, 1951 and was of the Catholic faith. Michael was a veteran of the United States Army, serving one tour in the Vietnam War. He was a member and past Post Commander of the John C Gainous VFW Post 10069 in Port St. Joe.

Michael enjoyed fishing and spending time at Howard Creek. He had a love for fast cars and watching sports, always cheering on the Cleveland Indians and Tampa Bay Rays.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Lowry and Vera Stakovicz Lowry; one brother, Harry Lowry and one sister, Carole Marino.

Left to cherish Michael’s memory is his loving wife of fifty-three years, Teresa Lowry; two children, Barrett Lowry and Kristie Lowry; two grandsons, Cole Whitaker and Brandon Lowry (Katelyn); nieces and nephews, Pam Lowry, Brett Lowry (Amber), Bart Lowry (Brittany), Barry Lowry (Jean), Paula Conley (Tony), Larry Marino (Terri), Leslie Smith (Tim), Lonny Marino (Dawn), Lee Marino (Danielle), Lindsie Shannon (Todd) and Lenny Marino (Jen). He is also survived by numerous great nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Eastern Time, on Saturday, April 29, 2023 at the John C Gainous VFW Post 10069 in Port St. Joe, Florida.
