Pamela June Norris Smith-Reyes, a lifelong native of Port St. Joe, Florida, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 14, 2025, at the age of 60. Born on January 17, 1965, Pamela was known for her strong faith and deep love for her Lord.
Pamela's career spanned several roles that showcased her dedication to service. In her earlier years, she worked as a Correctional Officer at Gulf CI, dispatcher for the Port St. Joe Police Department and the Gulf County Sheriff’s Department. Pamela also served as an officer for the police department and even volunteered as a firefighter. Most recently, she enjoyed her role as the housekeeping supervisor at a local hotel, a position she cherished deeply.
Pamela had a vibrant personality and enjoyed a variety of hobbies. She was an avid fan of FSU Football and professional wrestling. Pamela also loved spending time at the beach and freshwater fishing. She treasured moments spent with family and friends, and although she never had children, her dogs were her beloved companions and often referred to as her babies.
Pamela is predeceased by her father, Elbert Norris, and her mother, Mary Lee Hoover Norris. She leaves behind numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who loved her dearly.
A graveside service will be held in her honor at Holly Hill Cemetery in Port St. Joe, Florida. The service will begin at 11:00 AM on Friday, June 20, 2025 with Pastor Adam White officiating.
Arrangements are entrusted to the caring staff of Comforter Funeral Home in Port St. Joe, Florida.
