Pauline Weimorts Pendarvis, 80, passed away peacefully at home on January 14, 2026. She was born on February 28, 1945, in Walton County, Florida, to Paul Youngblood Weimorts and Lula Mabel Williams Weimorts. Pauline grew up in Ponce de Leon, Florida, and was a graduate of Ponce de Leon High School.
After graduating Pauline relocated to Port St. Joe, Florida, where she married and had two daughters. Pauline retired from the City of Port St. Joe after a long term of employment where she served both as the City Clerk and City Manager among other positions. Prior to her illness, Pauline enjoyed memberships in many clubs and organizations such as Friends of the Library and the Kiwanis Club. She was also a devoted member of St. Peter’s Anglican Church of Port St. Joe.
Pauline was preceded in death by her father, Paul Youngblood Weimorts and mother, Lula Mabel Weimorts, brothers Archie Wesley Weimorts, Harry Weimorts, and Fed Clayton Weimorts, sister Ada Irene Eldrige, brothers-in-law Harold Douglas Cassiday and Freddie Eldridge, and sister-in-law Mary Lee Weimorts.
Pauline is survived by her daughter Pausha Pendarvis Player as well as her beloved grandson Grady Whitman Player. She is also survived by daughter Paula Marie Pendarvis, sister Juanita Davis, sister-in-law Myra Weimorts, and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends.
A private memorial service will be held. All arrangements are under the direction of Comforter Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Joseph Bay Humane Society (https://givebutter.com/PAWSOMEPALS).
