Rian Leton Thomas Hall, born on February 24, 1988, in Panama City, Florida, passed away at his residence in Boynton Beach, Florida, on Monday, March 2, 2026, at the age of 38. He was born and raised in Wewahitchka, Florida and had resided in Palm Beach County for the pass seven years.
Rian is remembered for his unwavering dedication to service, having proudly served in the United States Army Infantry. He achieved the rank of E-4 before being medically retired due to wounds sustained in combat. This chapter of his life demonstrated his commitment and bravery, traits that carried over into his personal endeavors.
After completing high school, Rian attended Cosmetology School, to further expanding his talents and skills. Following his military service, he took up the role of a security guard at a local hospital. Rian had a heart for people and helping others. He demonstrated this though working at a rehab center where he assisted residents and looked forward to spending time with them.
Rian had a variety of hobbies and interests that brought joy to his life. He enjoyed drawing, watching movies, and loved time spent at the beach, and tubing down the river. He cherished the simple pleasure of sitting around a campfire, engaging in heartfelt conversations with family and friends. His K-9 companion, Gilbert, was his constant friend and provided him with immeasurable comfort and companionship. Above all, Rian's greatest joy came from being an uncle.
Rian was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Barbara and Tom Hall and one aunt, Nancy Strickland.
He is survived by his parents, Michael McCorvey and Kelly McCorvey of Wewahitchka, Florida; girlfriend of two years, Kelsey McArthur; his son, Alex; and three siblings: Kayla Hall of Wewahitchka, Florida, Tyler McCorvey (Tori) of Wewahitchka, Florida, and Trisha VanHuffel of South Bend, Indiana. Rian's legacy continues through his nieces and nephews, Ellie, Clayton, Finley, Michael, Logan, Sydnie, Briar, Lynlee, and Bexley.
Additionally, Rian is survived by a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends whose lives he touched in meaningful and lasting ways.
A graveside service with military honors will be held at 1:00 P.M. Central Time on Wednesday, March 11, 2026 at Buckhorn Cemetery in Wewahitchka, Florida with Tyler McCorvey, Kevin Strickland, Ryan Hernandez, Emilio Hernandez, Evan Hernandez, Jeremy Hernandez serving as pallbearers and Michael McCorvey serving as an honorary pallbearer.
Rian Leton Thomas Hall leaves behind fond memories and a legacy of service, kindness, and creativity that will be cherished by all who knew him.
