Ron J. Harris of Apalachicola died October 25 at the age of 87. Born in Wink, Texas. Ron graduated from East Texas State College, spent three years in the Army and thirty-seven years in the software industry performing roles ranging from computer programmer to company president. In retirement he enjoyed writing, bicycling, and annual reunions with friends from Odessa High. Surviving are wife, Jane; daughter, Mindy Harris Underburger, and sons David and Rob Harris.
Interment of ashes will be in the Trinity Episcopal Church Memorial Garden in Apalachicola.
Arrangements are entrusted to the caring staff of Comforter Funeral Home in Port St. Joe, Florida.
