William Edwin Dyal

William Edwin Dyal, 80 known best as Eddie to family and friends fell asleep in death on Monday, June 9, 2025 at his residence.  He was a writer, lover of books, the arts and reveled in creation. Eddie nurtured his inner wanderlust by biking and walking along serene paths and going on cruises.

Eddie was the youngest son of the late Earl Vincent Dyal Sr. and Frances Marlene Vincent Dyal of Jacksonville, Florida. He was the brother to the late Earl Vincent Dyal Jr., lovingly known as "Sonny, Paul "Brady" Dyal (Juanell), and Teresa "Diane" Ward of Beacon Hill, Florida. Eddie is the father of Mark Dyal (Martha Pridgeon) of St. Joe Beach, Florida, Tanya Dyal of Port St. Joe, Florida, Allegra Dyal of Waverly, New York and Frances Dyal of Barton, New York. He is loved by his many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren who he loved to entertain with his unique personality and imagination.

Eddie was a resident of port St. Joe, Florida since 2003. He was a free spirit who loved life and always marched to the beat of his own drum. Eddie loved to travel and spoke of himself as having an inner need to be on the go. He is very much loved and will be missed by his entire family.
