Willie Carolyn Williams

Willie Carolyn Williams, age 79 , went to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 25, 2026 in Panama City, surrounded by her loving family. Carolyn met and married the love of her life, George "Tommy" Williams in 1964 and they went on to have three wonderful children. 

Carolyn loved spending time with her family, especially on holidays, birthdays, and anniversaries. She was a long time member of Long Avenue Baptist Church, where she grew in her faith and developed many life long friendships. 

She was born in Holmes County, Florida on September 18, 1946 to the late Leroy and Ethel Peak. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Oneal, Hosea, J.R., Noah, Roy, Jake, Earl, Paul, Jerry and Cora Peak. She was also preceded by her loving husband of forty-nine years, George Thomas Williams.

Carolyn is survived by her sons, George Thomas Williams Jr. (Melinda), Timothy Martin Williams (Crystal), and Travis Lamar Williams (Robyn); her beautiful grandchildren, Zachary Williams (Jessica), Leah Chancey (Chris), Greyson Williams, Diamond Williams, and Isabella "Izzy" Williams; her wonderful great grandchildren, Jonah Williams, Jacob Williams, Scarlet Jade, Vivian Rose, Asher Chancey, Isla Chancey, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at Long Avenue Baptist Church on Wednesday, April 29, 2026 with a time of visitation beginning at 1:00 P.M. Eastern Time and the funeral following at 2:00 P.M. Eastern Time with Pastor Eli Prine officiating. Interment will follow at Holly Hill Cemetery in Port St. Joe, Florida.
